Publication design for The Carbon Fixation

Layout and publication design for The Carbon Fixation: How Philanthropy and Aid Miss the Real Crisis – an 84-page Culture Hack Labs report challenging dominant approaches in climate philanthropy

Culture Hack Labs is a not-for-profit consultancy supporting movements, organisations and activists to shift the cultural narratives that underpin ecological breakdown, extractivism and inequality.

We produced the layout and publication design for their report The Carbon Fixation: How Philanthropy and Aid Miss the Real Crisis – a critique of technocratic, market-driven climate philanthropy and its failure to address root causes such as global inequality, resource extraction and overconsumption. The report advocates for a reimagining of climate finance toward community-driven, justice-centred solutions. View the report here.

We also designed an Instagram post in collaboration with Culture Hack Labs and Earthrise Studio exploring the disconnect between climate funding and climate justice. Earthrise is a climate storytelling studio celebrating human nature – see the full post here.
