Visual and interaction design for narrative change
Visual and UI/UX design for the Culture Hack Labs curriculum, a seven-module self-directed learning journey distilling 10 years of methodology for narrative practitioners and movement leaders
Culture Hack Labs is a not-for-profit consultancy supporting movements, organisations and activists to shift the cultural narratives that underpin ecological breakdown, extractivism and inequality, designing interventions that open space for post-capitalist, life-centric futures.
We collaborated on the design of their online curriculum, creating original visuals to explain the core methodologies and concepts, including diagrams such as narrative forms, the deep structure of culture, layers of narrative forms and narrative environments. We also contributed to the UI/UX design of the online learning platform. The curriculum equips narrative practitioners with the tools to understand and enact the ontological shifts needed to disrupt the core assumptions of capitalist modernity.
