As a new communication partner to Grassroots Economics, we needed to start by creating a visual language that could be expanded out for further communications to follow. The scenes & characters created are inspired by our time spent with the organisation in Kenya. 

 

Grassroots Economics is a non-profit foundation that seeks to empower marginalised communities to take charge of their livelihoods and economic futures. From our visual language, we created our first communication tool: An infographic for Grassroots Economics to communicate to their donors the different methods of support that exist.

 

 

WHAT.

WHO.

Positioned towards donors (developmental & humanitarian aid organisations).

WHY.

The primary goal is to communicate the three methods of support available for donors when engaging with Grassroots Economics. Secondary to this is to provide an introduction to the organisation and the topic of alternative currencies.

Communicate to donors how they can support Grassroots Economics 
 
Create a visual aesthetic for the brand which included scenes & character development
 
Explain what Grassroots Economics does & introduce the concept of community inclusion currencies
 
Highlight the SDG’s that the organisation achieves
