KHAYELITSHA

2020

A short film about the power of cycle tours in supporting entrepreneurs and building community in Khayelitsha, one of the largest townships in the Western Cape, South Africa.

“The name ‘Khayelitsha’ means a new home. During the apartheid days, no one wanted to be there because it’s far from everything. It was like a desert where there was nothing.

Khayelitsha is growing,

but also still young.”
